The exterior surface of the car is heavily focused on blending smooth surfaced volumes with hard edged technical aero components. It's an organic -yet utilitarian approach that sees form and function complimenting each other. I wanted to portray a sense of intention behind every line.
The powerplant is an electric motor + jet turbine hybrid, running on 100% hydrogen. The hydrogen turbine engine can generate electricity at lower speeds, while acting as direct propulsion at high speed.
The interior is a blend of minimalistic sport, and Scandinavian warmth. The attempt of creating a welcoming ambience in an otherwise focused and essential driving experience, has led to a specific selection of open pore wood trim, which surrounds the driver and passenger, while the dashboard and armrest modules orbit in the perimeter of the wooden backdrop.
Backlit surfaces are bathed in warm white mood lighting akin to indirectly sunlit home, while visible light is neutral and clear, like the stars on a winter night sky.
And of course, no Koenigsegg is complete without the top-down experience, with a roof that easily fits under the front clamshell.
The wheels are a callback to the old CC8 holed design, but with a modern take.
The outer rim is a diamond cut aluminium piece that is bonded onto the complete hollow-tube inner carbon rim, as is a hallmark construction feature for Koenigsegg.
